🧠 Our Verdict

Strong recommendation if you own a Carta 3 and want the Swivel, or if your silicone grip and tether have seen better days. Buy it for the Carta 3 only: owners of a Carta 2 or Carta Sport need the earlier Carta kit.

Quick Summary

Focus V's Swivel is a patent-pending lid with a glass stem that rotates a full 360 degrees, giving you a glass airpath and control over the angle you draw from, with a design that manages reclaim. This kit builds that Swivel around the Carta 3 and adds the pieces around it: a hinged Swivel lid, a sleeve that fits the Intelli-Core 3, a glass stopper for storage, and a silicone grip and tether.

Focus V Carta 3 Swivel and Silicone Accessory Kit – Swivel-Ready Parts for the Carta 3

Same idea, new rig. Focus V's Swivel started on the earlier Carta. The Carta 3 changed the atomizer to the Intelli-Core 3, so the parts around it had to change too. This kit is the Carta 3 version: every piece is built around the new swivel design and the new atomizer.

What each piece does.

• Swivel lid and glass stem: the rotating lid with a glass airpath, for clean flavor and control over the angle of your draw.
• Swivel hinged lid: a lid that flips open and closed on its hinge.
• Intelli-Core 3 sleeve: the sleeve that seats around the Carta 3 atomizer.
• Glass stopper: closes things up for storage and travel.
• Silicone grip: a secure hold on the glass stem.
• Silicone tether: keeps small parts attached so they do not wander off.

The kit fits the Focus V Carta 3 Kit. Owners of earlier Cartas want the Focus V CARTA Swivel + Silicone Essentials Kit. See everything in our Focus V Collection.

Summary: Six Swivel and silicone parts rebuilt around the Carta 3 and its Intelli-Core 3 atomizer.

⭐ Who This Product Is For / Not For

Ideal For:

• Carta 3 owners who want to add the Swivel.
• Anyone replacing a worn grip, tether or sleeve.
• Carta 2 Swivel users moving up to the Carta 3.

Not Recommended For:

• Carta 2 and Carta Sport owners. Use the earlier Carta Swivel kit.
• Aeris owners. Look at the Focus V AERIS Swivel & Silicone Essentials Kit.

Summary: Made for Carta 3 owners; Carta 2, Sport and Aeris have their own kits.

⚠️ Known Limitations

• Carta 3 only. The sleeve and lids are built around the Intelli-Core 3.
• Glass stem is glass. Handle it like the glass top.
• Small parts. The stopper and tether are easy to lose outside the bag.
• Atomizer not included. The sleeve goes around an Intelli-Core 3 you already own.

Summary: Carta 3 fit only, a glass stem to handle with care, small parts, and no atomizer in the box.

🧼 How to Use & Troubleshooting

1. Turn the Carta 3 off and let the atomizer cool.

4. Slip the silicone grip onto the stem and use the tether to keep small parts together.

Troubleshooting:

• Problem: the sleeve will not fit. Solution: confirm the atomizer is an Intelli-Core 3, not an earlier Intelli-Core.

• Problem: silicone picks up lint. Solution: wash it with warm soapy water and let it dry.

Cleaning: soak the glass stem and stopper in isopropyl alcohol, rinse and dry. Wash the silicone pieces in warm soapy water. Our cleaning and maintenance guide covers the same routine, and AFM Glass vs. Heady Glass explains your glass options for the top.

💬 Common Questions & Answers

What is the Focus V Swivel?

The Swivel is Focus V's patent-pending lid with a glass stem that rotates a full 360 degrees. It gives you a glass airpath for clean flavor and lets you turn the stem to the angle that suits how you are holding the rig, with a design that helps manage reclaim. This kit is the version built around the Carta 3 and its Intelli-Core 3 atomizer.

Will my Carta 2 Swivel kit work on the Carta 3?

No. The Carta 2 kit is built around the earlier Intelli-Core and Intelli-Core MAX sleeves, and the Carta 3 uses the new Intelli-Core 3. Focus V made this Carta 3 kit specifically around the new swivel design and atomizer. Keep your Carta 2 kit with your Carta 2, and pick up this one for the Carta 3.

What comes in the kit?

Six pieces: a Swivel lid with glass stem, a Swivel hinged lid, an Intelli-Core 3 sleeve, a glass stopper, a silicone grip and a silicone tether. The atomizer is not included; the sleeve fits around the Intelli-Core 3 that came in your Carta 3 Kit or a spare one. Everything is black to match the Carta 3.

What is the hinged lid for?

It is the second lid in the kit, built on a hinge so it opens and closes without coming off. Focus V includes it alongside the rotating Swivel lid so you have both options for the Carta 3. The glass stopper in the same box is the piece meant for storage and travel, when the rig goes into its bag.

Do I need this if I bought the Carta 3 Kit?

Not to start dabbing. The Carta 3 Kit ships ready to use with its glass top, atomizer and Saber. This kit is an add-on: it brings the Swivel to your Carta 3 and gives you fresh silicone parts and a spare sleeve. Pick it up when you want the Swivel or when the silicone pieces start to wear.

How do I clean it?

Separate the glass and silicone pieces. Soak the glass stem and the glass stopper in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water and let them dry. Wash the silicone grip, tether and sleeve in warm soapy water, rinse and air-dry. Make sure every piece is fully dry before it goes back on the Carta 3.

Summary: A rotating glass-stem lid and silicone parts for the Carta 3, not the Carta 2, six pieces, an optional add-on, glass in alcohol and silicone in soap.
