Every device comes from the manufacturer or a manufacturer-authorized distributor. We don't buy from third-party marketplaces, liquidation, or gray-market resellers — ever.

We verify invoices, distribution agreements, and authorized-dealer certificates against the brand's official lists. We re-verify annually with each brand.

Every unit gets a packaging inspection on arrival: sealed shrink-wrap, holographic stickers, correct fonts and logos, anti-tamper seals, original manuals.

Serial Number Verification
Premium device serials are spot-checked against the manufacturer's verification database (Puffco, Dr. Dabber, Focus V all maintain these). Fakes fail this check.

How to Spot a Counterfeit Vape Device
If you're buying from anyone other than an authorized dealer, here are the signs:

- Price near MSRP — small discounts are normal, 50%+ off retail is a red flag

How do I verify a Puffco device is authentic?
Three checks: (1) inspect for the holographic authentication sticker on the box, (2) verify the serial number on the official Puffco website, and (3) confirm the unit pairs with the Puffco app and receives the current firmware. All Puffco products we sell pass all three checks and come with the 2-year Puffco manufacturer warranty.
Is Angie's Boutique an authorized dealer?
Yes. We are an authorized dealer for Puffco, Dr. Dabber, Focus V, Yocan, Kodo, and several other vape brands. We've been an authorized retailer in Los Angeles since 1990, with direct distributor relationships that we re-verify annually.
What if I think I bought a counterfeit somewhere else?
Bring it to our store at 838 N Broadway in Chinatown LA. We'll inspect it for free against our reference units, check the serial against the brand database, and tell you honestly whether it's authentic. If it's not, we'll help you find a verified replacement.
Do you honor manufacturer warranties?
Yes. As authorized dealers, all manufacturer warranties are valid on products purchased from us. For Puffco, Dr. Dabber, and Focus V we process warranty claims in-store — bring your defective unit and proof of purchase, and we file the claim on your behalf, often replacing the unit same-day when stock allows.
Why are your prices sometimes higher than online marketplaces?
Our prices reflect authorized-dealer cost from the manufacturer plus normal retail margin. Marketplaces selling Puffco Peak Pros for $150 (vs $400 MSRP) are almost certainly selling counterfeits — there's no legitimate distribution channel at that price. We'd rather sell you the real device at fair price than the fake at any price.
Can I return a product if I have authenticity concerns?
Yes — full refund, no questions. If you ever receive a product from us that you believe is not authentic, bring it back and we'll refund or replace immediately. See our returns policy for details.
How are glass pieces authenticated differently from electronics?
Premium glass (Mothership, Illadelph, Gordo, Steve H, etc.) is authenticated through artist signatures, signed/stamped pieces, certificates of authenticity for high-end work, and our long-standing relationships with the glass community. We do not stock unauthorized reproductions of artist work.
Do you sell CBD or kratom?
No. Following California AB-8 (effective January 1, 2026) restricting CBD and the CDPH October 2025 administrative ban on kratom sales, we no longer sell CBD or kratom products.
