🧠 Our Verdict

Strong recommendation for collectors of Coyle Condenser, Slum Gold or 2010s collaboration glass who want a complete, signed set. It works as a dab rig, but it is a collector's piece first. If you want a daily driver, a simpler rig takes the wear instead.

Quick Summary

Coyle Condenser is a glass artist known for sculpted character work. Slum Gold is the glass brand behind the 40oz bubblers and recyclers we also carry. Together they made this figure rig: a glossy black, Munny-style body, gold Slum Gold ODB logo work on the head, a mouthpiece on top and a fixed 14mm male joint with a 2-hole diffused downstem. The set includes a hand-ground 14mm vapor dome, a hair-pick dabber and a boombox dish. It stands about 5.5 inches tall on a 3.5 inch base.

Coyle Condenser x Slum Gold Ol Dirty Bastard Munny – A Signed Figure Rig With Its Own Accessories

The dabber and the dish are part of the art. A figure rig catches your eye on the shelf. A figure rig that comes with a sculpted hair pick for a dabber and a little gold boombox for a dish turns the whole setup into one piece. That is what Coyle Condenser and Slum Gold built here.

The figure. The body is a glossy black Munny-style figure with stubby arms and legs. Slum Gold's ODB logo artwork wraps the head in gold. The mouthpiece sits on top of the head, so you draw from the crown.

The function. A fixed 14mm male joint feeds a 2-hole diffused downstem inside the body. The set is built for a nail-and-dome setup, with a hand-ground 14mm vapor dome included. A 14mm female banger also fits the male joint if you prefer a modern quartz setup.

The signature. The piece is signed "Coyle 2012," per our original listing, and carries Slum Gold logos alongside the ODB artwork.

⚠️ Known Limitations

• Art glass first. The figure, the dabber and the dish are sculpted and fragile.

📐 Structured Specs

Summary: A $4,999.99 signed figure rig, 5.5 inches tall, with a 14mm male joint, a dome and two accessories.

🔌 Compatibility & Requirements

Works with:

• The included hand-ground 14mm vapor dome over a 14mm nail.
• 14mm female quartz bangers, from our Quartz Bangers & Nails collection, as a modern alternative.

NOT compatible with:

• 14mm male bangers or bowls; the rig's joint is male.
• 18mm or 10mm pieces without an adapter.

You will need: a nail or a 14mm female banger, a torch, and water for the chamber.

Summary: Use the dome over a nail, or a 14mm female banger; male pieces do not fit.

🧼 How to Use & Troubleshooting

1. Add a small amount of water through the mouthpiece, just enough to cover the downstem holes.
2. Seat your nail or a 14mm female banger on the male joint.
3. If using the dome, set it over the nail.
4. Heat, wait, and dab with the hair-pick dabber.
5. Rest the dabber on the boombox dish between dabs.

Troubleshooting:

• Problem: water reaches your mouth. Solution: pour some out; the chamber is small.
• Problem: the banger wobbles. Solution: confirm it is a 14mm female joint.
• Problem: residue in the downstem. Solution: clean with alcohol and a pipe cleaner while cool.

Cleaning: let the piece cool, then rinse it gently with isopropyl alcohol and warm water. Avoid hard shaking with coarse salt on sculpted glass, and never run hot glass under cold water. Our cleaning and maintenance guide covers the alcohol routine, and AFM Glass vs. Heady Glass explains why signed artist pieces like this are priced the way they are.

Summary: A little water, a nail or female banger, gentle alcohol cleaning, no thermal shock.

⚖️ Comparison Table

The two Coyle Munnys share a size, a price and a format: rig, dome, themed dabber and themed dish. Pick by theme.

Summary: Choose the ODB Munny for black and gold Slum Gold work, the Painter Munny for graffiti, or the Mega Munny for electroforming.

💬 Common Questions & Answers

Who made this piece?

It is a collaboration between Coyle Condenser, a glass artist known for sculpted character work, and Slum Gold, the glass brand behind the 40oz bubblers and recyclers in our Slum Gold collection. Coyle Condenser sculpted the black figure and its accessories, and the Slum Gold ODB logo artwork in gold covers the head. The piece is signed "Coyle 2012," per our original listing.

What comes with it?

The set includes the figure rig itself, a hand-ground 14mm vapor dome, a sculpted hair-pick dabber and a boombox-shaped dab dish. The dabber and dish are themed to match the figure, so the whole set displays as one piece. A nail or banger and a torch are not included; bring your own to dab with it.

What kind of nail or banger does it take?

The rig has a fixed 14mm male joint. For the traditional setup, a 14mm nail sits on the joint and the included hand-ground dome covers it. For a modern setup, a 14mm female quartz banger fits the male joint directly, and you can skip the dome. Male-joint bangers and bowls do not fit.

Is it a functional rig or a display piece?

Both. The figure has a working water chamber, a 2-hole diffused downstem and a mouthpiece on top of the head, so it dabs. At $4,999.99 and signed, it is also a collector's piece. If you use it, keep the water low, clean gently and store the dabber and dish safely between sessions.

How tall is it?

It stands about 5.5 inches tall on a 3.5 inch base, per our original listing. That makes it a small rig with a small water chamber. Add just enough water to cover the downstem holes; too much will reach the mouthpiece because the path from the water to the crown of the head is short.

How should I clean it?

Let it cool completely, then rinse gently with isopropyl alcohol and warm water, using a pipe cleaner for the downstem. Avoid hard shaking with coarse salt on sculpted glass, and never put hot glass under cold water. Clean the dabber and dish the same way and dry everything before displaying it.

Summary: A Coyle and Slum Gold collaboration, a complete set, a 14mm male joint, functional and collectible, small, and gentle cleaning.
