What is Calibear Glass?

Calibear describes itself as a crew of glass enthusiasts based in California who set out to make better glass at a fair price. The company works in thick borosilicate and designs its e-rig tops with precision-fit tolerances for each specific device.

The lineup goes well past e-rig glass. Calibear also makes recycler, incycler, torus and fab egg style dab rigs, beakers and zongs, quartz bangers in several bucket styles, joystick and vortex carb caps, and opal and dichro terp pearls. We brought in the pieces that pair best with the e-rigs and rigs our customers already own.

Third-party glass like Calibear's is an upgrade or replacement, not factory glass. It is not made or endorsed by Dr. Dabber, Puffco or Focus V, and each top fits only the device named in its title.

Dr. Dabber Switch 2 recycler and water tops

Calibear's Switch 2 tops swap in for the factory glass and add water filtration or recycling. The FTK Recycler combines fab, torus and Klein shapes in one clear spiral-loop recycler. The Swiss Straight Fab Recycler pairs a Swiss cage perc with a straight fab recycler. The Torus Incycler (Purple) pushes water up through a ring-shaped chamber and back down a side arm. The Exosphere sets a colored globe inside a clear one as a splash guard, and the Curve Flow Sidecar moves the mouthpiece to the side for a more comfortable draw.

Dr. Dabber Switch 2 joystick carb caps

Two joystick caps made only for the Switch 2: the Facet Opal Joystick Cap, a faceted glass top around an opal center, and the Super Mushroom Man Joystick Cap, a sculpted character cap. Both are glass only in the box. See more on Carb Caps.

Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 and Puffco Pivot glass

Calibear recycler dab rigs

For torch and banger setups, Calibear's dual-loop recyclers keep water moving on every pull. The 8" Multi-Chamber Recycler (Lime Candy) has a perc in the base and twin recycler loops. The Artistic Recycler with Opal (Mango Yellow) adds worked color loops and an encased opal. Both have a 14mm female joint and do not include a banger; pair one from Quartz Bangers.

Calibear's cactus-pattern glass comes in three dab accessory sets: the 6mm Dichro Cactus Terp Pearls (2 pack), the four-piece Dichro Cactus Terp Slurper Marble Set (20mm top marble, 12mm valve marble and two 6mm pearls), and the Vibrant Cactus Bead Set (two pearls and a pillar with opal inlays). Is Calibear glass better than factory glass?

Factory tops are built for basic function. Calibear's tops add what the stock glass does not have: recycler loops, Swiss percs, splash guards and side draws, plus color and sculpted details. The tradeoff is size: recycler tops stand taller and wider than the factory glass and hold more water, so they need more room on the table and more care when moving the device. Keep your factory top as a spare for travel.

How do I clean and care for Calibear glass?

Let the device and glass cool fully before removing the top.
Fill recycler tops with just enough water to cover the perc; too much water splashes and too little stops the recycling.
Change the water every session or two.
Soak the glass in isopropyl alcohol with fine salt, shake gently, and rinse with warm water. Never run water into the device itself.
Handle joystick caps and sculpted pieces by the base, not the details. The stem of a joystick cap is hot right after use.
