Puffcon 2026 Recap: The VIP Travel Bag, the Puffcon Edition Proxy Core, and What You Can Buy Now
At a Glance
Puffcon 2026 ran October 3 and 4 at Los Angeles Center Studios in Downtown Los Angeles, with Metro Boomin and Action Bronson headlining, a Glass Village of heady artists, and two event-only Puffco releases: the Puffcon VIP Exclusive Travel Bag and the Proxy Core Kit Puffcon Edition. Shirts and hats rounded out the merch. Neither exclusive is sold online, but the standard versions are.
What You Need to Know
If you missed Puffcon, the two pieces people are searching for are the multicolor VIP travel bag and the purple Puffcon Edition Proxy Core. Both were event releases, and Puffco has not announced an online release for either. The everyday Proxy Travel Bag and Proxy Core Kit carry the same function without the event branding, and both are in stock at Angies Boutique.
What Happened at Puffcon 2026?
Puffco's own recap calls it two full days that took over Los Angeles with music, food, art, glass, hash, and thousands of people from across the community. The Block Party filled Los Angeles Center Studios at 450 S Bixel St, a short ride from our shop on North Broadway.
- Saturday, October 3: Metro Boomin headlined. Saturday entry required a Puffco Peak, Peak Pro, Proxy, or Pivot.
- Sunday, October 4: Action Bronson headlined, and Sunday passes were open to the general public.
- Across both days: Curren$y, OhGeesy, The Alchemist, Boldy James, and more on the lineup, plus the Glass Village of functional glass artists.
Our full pre-event coverage is still live if you want the details: the Puffcon 2026 music lineup and the Puffcon 2026 glass artists lineup.
Section recap: Two days in Downtown Los Angeles, Metro Boomin Saturday, Action Bronson Sunday, and a Glass Village full of artists.
The Puffcon VIP Exclusive Travel Bag
The piece customers have been asking us about is the Puffcon VIP Exclusive Travel Bag. Puffcon's own Instagram spelled out who got it: the bag was only for 2026 VIP ticket holders, one of several exclusive items reserved for VIP passes. It is a crossbody bag in a color-blocked mix: a green top band, tan front pockets, a navy lower body, and orange pull cords, with a Puffco tab on the front pocket. It is the kind of colorway Puffco does not put into regular production, which is exactly why it is getting searched.
Puffco has not published specs or an online release for the VIP bag. If you want the everyday version built for carrying a Proxy setup, the standard Puffco Proxy Travel Bag is in stock, and the Proxy Travel Pack adds a modular accessory kit for life on the move.
Section recap: The VIP bag went only to 2026 VIP ticket holders, with no announced online release. The standard Proxy Travel Bag is the everyday option.
The Proxy Core Kit Puffcon Edition
The second release was the Proxy Core Kit Puffcon Edition, sold at the on-site shop. It pairs a purple anodized body carrying Puffcon branding with a white top section, a one-off finish built for the weekend.
Underneath the finish it is a Proxy Core Kit, the glass-free setup for the new app-enabled Proxy base. The same kit is available in regular colorways: the Puffco Proxy Core Kit comes in Onyx and Pine at Angies Boutique, and the Proxy Core and Hot Knife Bundle pairs it with a loading tool. One fit note matters: the Core works only with the new app-enabled Proxy base, not the original Proxy.
Q: Does the Puffcon Edition Core fit my Proxy?
A: Only if you own the new app-enabled Proxy base. The Core does not fit the original Proxy.
Section recap: The Puffcon Edition is a purple, event-branded Proxy Core. The regular Proxy Core Kit does the same job and needs the new Proxy base.
Everything Else: Shirts and Hats
Beyond the bag and the Puffcon Edition Core, the rest of the event merch was apparel: shirts and hats. That matches what came through our door all week: shoppers picked up their qualifying device with us before heading to the gate, and the event releases were the add-ons.
Section recap: Apparel filled out the merch table. The bag and the Puffcon Edition Core were the only hardware-adjacent releases.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Paying resale prices without confirming it is the real Puffcon edition
- Buying a Puffcon Edition Core for an original Proxy base
- Assuming the VIP bag will drop online later
- Waiting until tickets go on sale to buy a qualifying device
- Confusing the VIP bag with the standard Proxy Travel Bag listing
Section recap: Verify resale pieces, check Proxy base compatibility, and plan your device before next year.

Common Questions
What were the Puffcon 2026 exclusives?
Puffco released two event-only pieces at Puffcon 2026: the Puffcon VIP Exclusive Travel Bag, a color-blocked crossbody bag in green, tan, navy, and orange, and the Proxy Core Kit Puffcon Edition, a purple Proxy Core with Puffcon branding sold at the on-site shop. The rest of the merch was shirts and hats. Puffco has not announced an online release for either exclusive.
Can you buy the Puffcon VIP travel bag online?
Not from Puffco as of now. Puffcon's Instagram says the bag was only for 2026 VIP ticket holders, and no online release has been announced. Any you see listed elsewhere are resale, so confirm authenticity before paying a premium. If you want a Puffco travel bag for carrying a Proxy setup, the standard Puffco Proxy Travel Bag is in stock at Angies Boutique, along with the Proxy Travel Pack accessory kit.
What is the Proxy Core Kit Puffcon Edition?
It is a special-finish Proxy Core Kit sold at the Puffcon 2026 on-site shop, with a purple body carrying Puffcon branding and a white top. Functionally it is a Proxy Core Kit, the glass-free setup for the Puffco Proxy. Like every Proxy Core, it fits only the new app-enabled Proxy base, not the original Proxy. The regular Proxy Core Kit comes in Onyx and Pine at Angies Boutique.
