Hemper is a smoking-accessories brand founded in 2015 by Bryan Gerber, best known for pop-art novelty glass in unmistakable shapes — the Balloon Dog, the Chinese Takeout box, the Ramen Cup, the Gummy Bear, and the Lucky Cat. The company began as a discreet monthly subscription box and has shipped over 3 million boxes; today Hemper glass is carried worldwide, and the brand sits under parent company HARA Brands. Hemper is a smoking-accessories brand founded in 2015 by Bryan Gerber alongside co-founders Ravjot (RJ) Bhasin and Henry Kochhar. The original idea borrowed the subscription model from cosmetics and shaving-care: a discreet monthly box of smoking essentials delivered to the door, so a customer never had to walk into a shop if they didn't want to. Gerber finished college on May 18, 2015 and shipped the first boxes the following day. The company has since shipped over three million boxes.
The subscription business made Hemper a household name, but the glass is what made it recognizable. Hemper bongs are the brand's bestsellers, and they sell on the shapes — a balloon dog, a Chinese takeout container, a cup of ramen, a gummy bear, a Maneki-Neko lucky cat. Each takes a familiar object and renders it as a working borosilicate water pipe. The brand now operates under parent company HARA Brands.

Hemper's deepest theme. The Chinese Takeout Bong (6" and 9" XL) is one of the brand's most famous pieces, with a matching Chinese Takeout Peak Top and Fortune Cookie Hand Pipe. The Ramen series runs three deep — Ramen Cup Bong (7" and 8.6" XL), Ramen Bowl Hand Pipe, and Ramen Peak Top. Rounding it out: the Gummy Bear Hand Pipe and Gummy Bear Peak Top, the Tea Cup Bong with a showerhead perc, and the Wild West Moonshine Bong.
The Balloon Dog XL Bong (7.6", gold electroplated) and Sitting Balloon Dog Bong (5.5", iridescent blue) are Hemper's signature — on both, the ear is the mouthpiece and the tail holds the bowl. The Lucky Cat series brings the Maneki-Neko form to the Lucky Cat XL Bong and Lucky Money Cat Peak Top. The That 70's Lamp XL Bong (10.5", double perc) is a lava lamp rendered in glass, with a matching That 70's Peak Top. The Totally Rad Arcade Bong (5.4") is a glass arcade cabinet, paired with the Totally Rad Arcade Peak Top. The Gaming Flower Piranha Hand Pipe nods to the classic video-game plant.
The High Jinx series runs three deep — the High Jinx Cartoon XL Bong (11", middle finger), the High Jinx Cartoon Bong (5.75", thumbs-up), and the High Jinx Cartoon Hand Pipe.
The UFO Vortex Peak Top pairs a saucer silhouette with a vortex perc; the UFO Vortex Hand Pipe (5.5", green) is the pocket version. The Zen Yin-Yang Hand Pipe is a 3" puck-style piece, and the Bowlman Lantern Bong (7") takes the lantern form.
The RIPNDIP x Hemper High Nermal Peak Top ($99.99) is a collaboration with the streetwear brand RIPNDIP, featuring their Nermal cat character. It is the only piece in the Hemper lineup at Angies Boutique above the standard Peak Top price, and collab pieces don't get restocked once a run sells through.

Hemper Peak Tops fit the Puffco Peak and Peak Pro — they do not fit the Puffco Pivot or Proxy, which use different attachment systems. Several designs come in two sizes (Chinese Takeout at 6" and 9", Ramen Cup at 7" and 8.6", Bowlman Lantern) — check the size selector on the product page, since price varies by size. Bongs use standard 14mm joints, so aftermarket bowls and downstems will fit. Novelty glass has sculpted features — ears, tails, limbs, saucer edges — that protrude and are more vulnerable to impact than a plain tube; handle and store accordingly. The Balloon Dog XL is gold electroplated, so clean it with a mild glass cleaner rather than a harsh isopropyl soak, which can dull electroplated finishes over time. The RIPNDIP collab is a limited run and won't be restocked once it sells through.
