The number is the size. The 1120 is small, and the 1150, 1200, 1300, 1400 and 1500 get progressively larger. Measure your gear, including any glass top, and pick the size that fits with room for foam.
Yes. Pelican Protector cases come with pick-apart foam: pull out small cubes to make a slot that fits your vaporizer, glass or accessories.
Hard cases protect glass and electronics from crushing and drops, which is best for travel. Soft cases and pouches are lighter and better for daily carry.
Smell-proof cases are built to contain odor when they are fully zipped and kept clean inside. Leaving a zipper open or letting residue build up inside reduces how well they work.
Empty all water, let the glass dry, and wrap or separate tops and bowls so nothing knocks together. Use a padded tube bag for tall pieces and a hard case for small glass.
The cases themselves travel fine, but rules on carrying smoking accessories and their contents vary by airline, state and country. Check the rules for your trip before you go.
