Boro Syndicate, also written Borosyndicate, is a Salt Lake City, Utah glass gallery and studio founded by Kenny Holladay and Evan Ballance. Alongside its gallery, it runs a separate glassblowing facility where all of its in-house glass is made, and its name is a play on borosilicate, the glass it works in. Angies Boutique carries Boro Syndicate Low Rider drop-downs, worked vapor domes in 14mm and 18mm, dome-and-adapter sets and vapor curves.
Boro Syndicate started as a Salt Lake City glass shop and grew into a gallery, retail store and in-house glass brand. Co-founder Kenny Holladay, mostly self-taught as a glassblower, has described the group as like-minded artists who all want to make art out of borosilicate, which is why the name swaps "silicate" for "syndicate." The gallery shows work from well-known glassblowers, and Boro Syndicate's own studio makes the accessories sold under its name.
Those accessories are built around the parts that connect and finish a setup: drop-downs that change a joint's size, gender or height; vapor domes for nail and dome dabbing, often worked with wig wag, reversal and dichro patterns; and complete dome-and-adapter sets.
A Low Rider is Boro Syndicate's low-profile drop-down: it lowers your banger below the rig's joint and can change joint size or gender at the same time. Boro Syndicate's domes are worked in color: the 14mm Reversals, Fire & Ice and Elvis Red, and the 18mm Ice and Rasta. Each has a female joint that fits the matching male joint. More in Vapor Domes.
Sets bundle a dome with the adapter you need to use it on your rig. The 18mm Dome & Adapter Set in Opal includes an 18mm dome, an 18mm male-to-male adapter and an 18mm quartz nail, and the Rainbow Wig Wag set adapts an 18mm dome to a 14mm female rig.
A vapor curve is a curved glass arm that holds a titanium dab plate, an alternative to a banger for dabbing. The Vapor Curve 18mm Male 45° has a wire-wrapped arm and a Boro Syndicate titanium plate, and the 18mm Female Dichro Vapor Curve is fully worked in dichroic glass.

Every Boro Syndicate adapter and dome is named by its two ends, like 18mm male to 14mm female. The end that meets your rig must be the opposite gender of the rig's joint, and the other end must match the banger, nail or dome you want to use. If you are not sure of your joint, call the shop at (213) 680-0080 or send a photo. To clean, soak in 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol and rinse with warm water, never boiling; use a gentle cleaner on dichro and worked glass. Supplies are in Cleaning Supplies.

Match both ends: drop-downs and domes must match your rig and your banger in size and gender. Drop-downs add height and weight: keep small rigs on a stable surface. Torch the nail, not the glass: heat only the quartz or titanium, never the glass adapter or dome. Worked pieces vary slightly from the photo. Most Boro Syndicate here is one or two deep.
