Ben Wilson Glass: Disc Screen Slides, Triple Donut Beakers & Inline Tubes
Ben Wilson, who also signs his work B. Wilson, is a Southern California glassblower known for two signatures: the disc screen slide, a glass bowl with a built-in glass screen so you never need a metal screen, and the triple donut, a three-ring section in the neck of his bongs that works as a splash guard and diffuser. A Cal State Long Beach graduate who built his wholesale studio in Huntington Beach, he has been making American-made functional glass for more than two decades. Angies Boutique carries Ben Wilson disc screen slides in 14mm and 18mm, custom worked triple donut beakers and disc perc tubes.

Who is Ben Wilson?
Ben Wilson is one of the best-known names in American functional glass, and his reputation was built on a simple part almost every smoker uses: the bowl. His disc screen slide puts a flat glass disc with eight small holes inside the bowl, so ash and flower stay in the bowl instead of getting pulled into the water, with no metal screen to burn out or replace. Retailers across the country describe the built-in disc screen as one of his signature innovations, and his slides have become a standard upgrade for bong owners.
His water pipes follow the same function-first approach. The triple donut, three stacked glass rings in the neck, catches splash and adds a stage of diffusion, and his inline and disc percolators are made for a smooth, controlled pull. Alongside clear and fumed everyday pieces, he makes fully worked custom beakers with dichro, wig wag, honeycomb and crushed opal sections.
Ben Wilson is part of a glass family: his brother makes glass under the name Leisure Glass, known for flower tubes, incyclers and Double Bub bubblers. Angies Boutique carries both.
What is a Ben Wilson disc screen slide?
A disc screen slide is a glass bowl with a built-in glass disc that acts as a permanent screen. Ben Wilson's version uses an 8-point disc, eight small holes that let air through while keeping ash and flower in the bowl. It replaces metal screens, does not need to be changed, and cleans in isopropyl like the rest of your glass.
Angies Boutique carries his slides in two joint sizes and many colors:
His slide line also includes triple donut slides, three-tone slides, Martini slides and zanfirico and latticino patterns; every one in stock is in the grid below.
What Ben Wilson bongs does Angies Boutique carry?
Custom triple donut beakers
These are fully worked collector pieces: the body, neck and base are covered in color work around the signature triple donut. The Black & White Dichro Wig Wag, Honeycomb Blue & Crushed Opal and Yellow & Blue beakers are one-of-one pieces.
Disc perc tubes
The Disc Perc Tube in Rasta pairs a disc percolator with red, yellow and green color work and a B. Wilson implosion marble, and ships with a 14mm Ben Wilson slide.
Beyond what is on our shelf
Ben Wilson also makes clear and fumed straight tubes, triple donut inline tubes, inline recyclers, 6-arm recycler bubblers and scene slides with beach and desert designs. Those come and go; sold-out Ben Wilson pieces stay listed in the grid so you can see the range, and new drops are added as they arrive.

Will a Ben Wilson slide fit my bong?
Match three things: joint size (14mm or 18mm), gender and angle. Most bongs have a female joint and take a male slide; a piece with a male joint needs a female slide like the 14mm Female Disc Screen Slide. If you are not sure of your joint, call the shop at (213) 680-0080 or see our joint adapter guide. To clean a disc screen slide, soak it in 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol and rinse with warm water; a pipe cleaner clears the disc holes. Worked and fumed glass should be cleaned with a gentle cleaner.
What should I know before buying Ben Wilson glass?
Check the joint: slides come in 14mm and 18mm and in male and female, so match your piece before you buy. Color varies: slides are hand blown, so color and pattern vary slightly from the photo. Custom beakers are one-of-one: the piece pictured is the piece you get, and it will not be remade the same way. Stock moves: most Ben Wilson colors are one or two deep, and sold-out pieces stay listed so you can see the range. Sold to adults 21+.
